"I Want You"

You say you love me,
Yet here I sit in solitude...
Needing you.

You don't want my love,
But still I sit here all alone...
Loving you.

"It will never work."
Is what you have been heard to say...
It's not true.

"I want to be friends."
"And nothing more," you're telling me...
That won't do.

"I don't want you hurt,"
You say, assuming it won't last;
Me and you.

You're hurting me now.
Can't you see that? I'll take the chance...
I want you.
